Holy hell, gaming has just reached a new milestone. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (CNet) has just shattered sales records across the board. Activision has already sent out a statement declaring it the "biggest entertainment launch in history." And no, that's not just hype.

That beats out the largest worldwide box office opening in history, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which "only" raked in $394 million. New Nintendo DSi To be As Fast As The Wii? Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review

Nintendo fanboys; prepare to start salivating. It looks like Iwata and his boys have finally found a way to set their handheld gaming devices above the iPhone. Since they can't match the versatility of a smartphone with something like the DS, Nintendo intends to attract consumers back to handheld gaming by offering them graphics quality that no iPhone game can compete with. Digital Foundry (via Electronista) reports that the new DSi will pack a Tegra 2 processor.

This new processor will mark a "colossal" jump in power and speed. How colossal? The new DSi could be just as fast as the Wii, with more support for visual effects. If true, this will mark the first time that a handset has been more powerful than a modern console.

Project Natal: November 2010 Launch? Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review

Good news, gamers. We might finally know the rough launch date of Microsoft's paradigm shifting Project Natal camera. MCV claims that sources close to the matter have released to them that Project Natal is currently set for a November 2010 launch. This all came out after a Microsoft tour of several UK publishers. Apparently Microsoft has been showing off their new hands-free camera and letting developers in on their timeline.

Microsoft is planning to have 5 million units made and ready for first day release. These units will be a mix of solo cameras, and cameras bundled with the Xbox 360 console. When sold alone, the camera is expected to sell for just £50. Some sources claim that the price will be set even lower, as Microsoft wants Natal to be something people pick up as an 'impulse' purchase. This could mean US prices of well under $100.
