German company Gate5, a navigation software products company announces smart2go.

smart2go transforms Smartphones into personal GPS navigation devices.
The map material includes POI (hotels, restaurants, etc.) guides from well known brands on the bundled 512MB MMC.
smart2go includes a Bluetooth GPS receiver from Socket that holds for 9 hours on a single charge. The navigation software supports 3D view, nightmode and voice instructions. smart2go navigates locally so no hidden online charges.
smart2go is available for Nokia Series60 (e.g.) 6600, 7610, 6620; Sendo X, etc.) and also for Windows Smartphones. Map material is available for USA and Europe.
smart2go is sold currently in Europe for 299 Euros. In the USA smart2go will go on sale in late April for $299 in retail stores. More details on the smart2go site.
