All Reviews | More Mobile Phone Reviews Griffin Elan Form for iPhone Case ReviewDate: 2008-07-31 Reviewed by: Shane McGlaun Manufacturer: Griffin Features Installation and Use With the polycarbonate shell and then leather on top of that, the Griffin Elan Form for iPhone is significantly thicker than the Wave case we looked at yesterday. The thickness of the case and leather is much more uncomfortable than the Wave case. I found that the edges of the case put pressure on my ears and face that were particularly bothersome on long calls. Other than the thick edges, the rest of the Griffin Elan Form for iPhone works well. The controls and ports on the iPhone are not blocked and can still be used. The phone can’t dock in the original charging dock with the case in place, but the charge cable itself will reach. The screen protector allows the touchscreen to function normally and protects it from scratches. A cleaning cloth is included to keep smudges and fingerprints off the screen protector. The feel of the screen is changed a bit compared to the screen without a protector, but the change in feel is well worth the protection offered.
