Features & Specifications
The EyeClops Mini Projector is a very small projector that fits in the palm of your hand. It can throw an image up to 60-inches in size if your room is large enough. The projector only has the yellow, white, and red inputs otherwise known as composite inputs. Power for the device comes from an AC adapter or a stand with D-cell batteries inside for portable use.

In Use
The EyeClops Mini Projector is very small and that is the thing that first caught my eye about the projector. I have reviewed real pico projectors aimed at the business user that are about the same size before. The EyeClops Mini Projector is sized to make it very portable. The composite inputs are on the side of the projector and it can be connected to anything from your DVD player to your video game console.

The projector is clearly aimed at kids who want to watch their favorite movies on a big screen or play video games on a big screen in their room. I know when I was a kid I always wanted a TV on the ceiling so I could watch my shows while lying down. With the EyeClops Mini Projector, your kids can have a TV on the ceiling.

The big downfall of the EyeClops Mini Projector is the amount of brightness that it outputs. The projector, like many of the other pico projectors I have tested, has low light output. That means that in the daylight in a room with any light bleeding in the image the projector produces is not that great. Colors get washed out, the contrast is not that great, and overall image quality is just not good during the day.

Once the sun goes down and the lights are off, the EyeClops Mini Projector does a much better job. You will never mistake the projector for a full-fledged home theater projector, but you won’t mistake the EyeClops Mini Projector's under $100 price tag for a home theater projector costing $1000 or more either. Keep in mind that the EyeClops Mini Projector is not really aimed at adults, it's aimed at kids.

When you stop and consider the cool factor and how much you are spending on the EyeClops Mini Projector, you can forgive some image issues. If you should buy one of these projectors just go into it not expecting home theater quality and you will be fine. As a toy for kids, the EyeClops Mini Projector is good and not too expensive. The battery powered stand is also a nice touch that will let kids watch movies outside or wherever they happen to be without needing a power cable. That battery powered DVD player just become a lot more fun with the EyeClops Mini Projector around. The projector has an onboard speaking that is loud enough to be heard in another room. I know I had to tell my son to turn it down several times.
