The Litecup: The Most Useful Gadget Ever
I have chronic allergies and live in smoggy Dallas. This means that, for roughly 11 months out of the year, I live with a low-level chronic sinus infection. That's why, for most of the year, my nose is very stopped up. This isn't much of a problem during the day, but it causes me to breathe through my mouth while I sleep. That dries my mouth out and leads to sore throats, which is why I always sleep with water beside my bed.
In the last year alone I've knocked my cup o' water over several times, once soaking my smartphone (I use it as an alarm) and many times soaking me and my bedsheets. There's nothing quite as annoying and uncomfortable as being covered in stale water at 3:00 A.M. That's why I shouted to the heavens and praised the gods above the instant I learned about Litecup (via Gizmodo).

Amazon to Debut New Kindle 3 Gadget.
This Wednesday, at Pace University, Amazon will unveil the next new product in their line-up. This comes as a big surprise, as Amazon just revealed the Kindle 2 to the world back in February, but confirms the rumor we reported earlier today.
We've got no details on the new gizmo as of yet, but considering the fact that Amazon is partnering with the New York Times to make it, means it is most likely a big-screen media reader. Newspaper companies are hemorrhaging money right now, and I'm sure the idea of a paper-sized print reader is very appealing to them. It could be a way to get consumers to start paying for their newspapers again. Customers would just have to subscribe to the paper, and it would be 'delivered' to their reader every morning.
