CyberPower has been in the business of making high-end gaming PCs for a long time now. The latest upgrades to land for the line of machines the firm makes are the new 6-core Intel Gulftown processors. The processors support Hyper-threading allowing the execution of 12 threads in parallel.

Decelerator Promises to Stop ''Unintended Acceleration''
You would have to be living in a cave to not have heard about the Toyota vehicles that have been recalled over the sticking accelerator issue. The phenomenon had been dubbed "unintended acceleration" in the press.
I'm still not sure why people can't simply put the car in neutral and coast to the side of the road. If you worry about your car taking you on a high-speed jaunt against your will a new product called the Decelerator has been revealed. Read more

Intel Launches Xeon 5600 Processors
Intel has pulled the wraps off its latest series of processors for the data center and server market. The new line of processors is the Xeon 5600 series featuring a pair of new security features.
The CPUs in the series sport Intel Advanced Encryption Standard New Instructions, and Intel Trusted Execution Technology. The tech allows for faster encryption and decryption performance for more secure transactions in virtualized environments and data centers. Read more

OWC Mercury On-The-Go Pro Grows to 1TB
Storage is like money, you can never have too much. OWC, the company well known for catering to the whims of Mac users around the world has announced a new larger capacity version of the Mercury On-The-Go Pro bus powered external HDD. The drive has 56% more storage capacity and can connect to FireWire or USB ports.
The new model of the drive has 1TB of storage space in a 2.5-inch form factor. Before the 1TB version of the drive debuted, the highest capacity in the line was 640GB. The 1TB drive can be had in three different configurations. Read more

HTC Touch Pro 3 Coming This Summer?
These days, the buzz is all about Windows Phone 7, with nary a glimmer of interest in topics pertaining to WinMo 6.5. Now though, it seems like the Windows OS will get to see at least one more big-name smartphone before it wilts away from lack of sunlight. WMPoweruser.com reports that the HTC Touch Pro 3 could be coming to a carrier near you this summer.
An industry insider (or someone claiming to be) has reported that the first shipment of Touch Pro 3s will arrive this summer and will start to sell in Europe in Q3 of the year. The Touch Pro 3 is likely to be the HTC Tera, a 3” resistive touchscreen device with a sliding QWERTY keyboard and...not much else.

OWC is a company that has been offering gear for Mac and PC users for a long time. The company has announced its latest external storage solution called the Mercury Elite-AL Pro mini. The drive is claimed to be the industry's first 2.5-inch 1TB quad interface portable storage solution.

Microvision SHOW WX Laser Pico Projector Finally Ships
The first time Microvision talked about its Show WX pico projector was back at CES in 2009. The company has more recently unveiled a laser version of the pico projector that some have been eagerly waiting for. The Show WX Laser Pico Projector is finally available in America.
The projector is going to ship in the US on March 24 at a price of $549. That price is quite a bit more expensive than the converted price the projector has been going for in Europe. Microvision will also be offering a special limited edition version of the projector. Read more
